Autistic individuals, families, their communities and professionals
Who We Are
Pakistan Centre for Autism (PCA) was founded in 2012 with a vision to create an inclusive society where children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can lead meaningful and respectable lives. The initiative was started by Dr. Saeed Ismail, inspired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Gaffar Billoo and supported by philanthropist Mr. Babar Qamar Alam, along with several dedicated professionals and board members.
From a single campus in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, PCA has grown to three branches in Karachi, offering therapies and support services to over 1000 individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. We’ve also helped 35 children transition successfully into mainstream schools.
PCA provides ABA training to professionals and internships to students under the supervision of certified experts, building skilled human resources in the field. We also conduct awareness and parent training programs to ensure children receive continuous support both at home and at PCA.

Our Vision
“A society where children and adults with special needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) lead a functional and respectable life.”
We envision a learning environment where children with autism are accepted, understood, and supported in mainstream schools alongside their peers.
Every child deserves access to evidence-based therapeutic care and early intervention — regardless of financial or social barriers.
Families are the foundation of growth. We strive to educate and empower parents, helping them become strong advocates for their children.
Our goal is to foster a community that understands autism, promotes empathy, and values inclusion as a shared social responsibility.
We believe in building a skilled workforce of therapists and educators through training, collaboration, and continuous learning to strengthen autism care in Pakistan.
